Greetings CDA Family,

Welcome to November and the 12th week of school.  We had so much fun at the Trunk or Treat event this Saturday.  I enjoyed getting slimed for the first time, sticky hair and everything.  I hope that everyone has a great Halloween and all children will be back at school tomorrow.

American Heart Association Health Program

Our KIDS HEART CHALLENGE kick off assembly will start at the line up area at 8am!  Students are encouraged to wear red on this day to rally around physical and mental wellness with a ROAD TRIP theme.  We will have our virtual assembly at 8:30am via Zoom Meeting ID: 878 9003 7137REGISTER HERE: http://www2.heart.org/goto/coeurdalene or download the FREE “Kids Heart Challenge” App.  We want 100% participation!  Students who register before the assembly will get a special shout out during the live presentation and a ROAD TRIP WARRIOR WRISTBAND!

COVID Testing

Free COVID testing in the school auditorium continues this Tuesday.  See flyer here for more information on stopping the spread of the virus.

CDA Middle School (VIRTUAL) Information Forum 

Coeur d’Alene Avenue Elementary School (CDA) is hosting its 8th Annual Middle School Information Forum for 3rd to 5th grade parents on Thursday,  November 4th, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm via Zoom Meeting ID: 878 9003 7137

Make up Picture Day

Get ready for make-up picture day on Monday, November 15th in the school auditorium.   

Student Study Groups

We are planning our Student Study Groups that will take place on Tuesdays from 1:38pm to 2:30pm.  Start date TBA and parents of selected students will receive a letter with information on the program.

Dreambox Learning

Our Venice Community of Schools encourages students in Grades K to 5 to use the Dreambox Learning tool on a regular basis.  Your child can access Dreambox by following the instructions found here.
