October 17, 2021

Greetings CDA Family,

It’s the 10th week of school and so much has happened since the beginning of the year.  Safety and health is always one of our top priorities.  There have been a few covid related challenges that have been difficult to navigate but I am so grateful to our staff, students, and families for the continued support, flexibility, and understanding.  As the new CDA principal, I could not ask for a better community to work with during this unprecedented time of constant uncertainties and changes.

COVID Prevention

Let’s keep each other safe by keeping 6 feet of distance from each other as much as possible.  Free COVID testing in the school auditorium continues this Tuesday.  See flyer here for more information on stopping the spread of the virus.

Traffic Safety Reminders:

I am excited to announce that I will be working with our fifth grade student leaders to use 21st century solutions to this real life problem.  We will use social media and other digital tools to promote proper pedestrian use and traffic safety.  Please continue to be mindful during drop off and pick up.  Always use the pedestrian routes (click here for the map) when crossing the streets.
