CDA Community,

We will use this platform to house communications since March 10, 2020, when the Covid-19 / coronavirus health crisis started to affect our day-to-day operations. Make sure to check the district’s website for more up-to-date information. If you are not receiving their communications by phone or email, please email me so that we can check your contact information in our student data system.

Stay well and together we will get through this crisis. Thanks.

Dear Fifth Grade Families of Remote Learning Students:

Unfortunately they have suspended testing on our campus for next week to focus efforts on testing students who are culminating, graduating, and attending summer programs. It was my understanding that our remote students would have the option to test on site on one of our designated testing days, Monday, but that is no longer the case. Please see below options for your child to test for COVID so that s/he can attend our culmination on June 11th at 09:30 AM. (I would recommend taking your test no later than Wednesday, PM, in order for the results to post on the Daily Pass.) You should be able to schedule a test using the Daily Pass, or there may be an option to walk in. I would try scheduling first. If you are having any challenges, please email Carol Greene, copied, our assistant principal. You can also upload external results to the Daily Pass, directions here. Finally, all students must have a negative PCR COVID test result in place to participate in culmination. Adults do not. They will just have their temperature taken and agree to the screening questions. If you have not indicated whether or not your child will take part, please do so ASAP using our Google form. Finally, we are having a dress rehearsal on Wednesday, June 9th at 12:00 PM. Students who can take part can enter through our Garfield gate and will be dismissed at 1:00 PM. They can resume synchronous instruction with Mrs. Buck once they arrive back home. Thanks.
