CDA Community,

We will use this platform to house communications since March 10, 2020, when the Covid-19 / coronavirus health crisis started to affect our day-to-day operations. Make sure to check the district’s website for more up-to-date information. If you are not receiving their communications by phone or email, please email me so that we can check your contact information in our student data system.

Stay well and together we will get through this crisis. Thanks.

Dear Fifth Grade Families,

As a reminder, we will need your confirmation that you will be attending our in-person culmination on June 11th at 09:30 AM. Only guests who have RSVP’d will be admitted. All students will need to have negative PCR COVID test result in place on their Daily Pass within 7 days of the ceremony. In-person students will have their last test on Monday, June 7th, and virtual students have 3 options for testing, outlined in our last communication.

Please complete the Google form RSVP if you have not already. Seat assignments will be made through a lottery system, and families will be directed to their seating assignment when they enter through their assigned gate, indicated in the linked communication.

In order to ensure that our fifth graders are ready for the ceremony, we are scheduling a dress rehearsal on Wednesday, June 9th at 12:00 PM. AM in-person students will stay for lunch after their instructional time and be dismissed at 1:00 PM at the Garfield Gate or join their care program. PM online students who are taking part in the ceremony will join us through the Garfield Gate at noon and join their AM and PM in-person peers for a 1 hour rehearsal. They will also be dismissed with AM in-person students at 1:00 PM and can then join Mrs. Buck on Zoom. Online students who are not taking part in the ceremony with work asynchronously for 1 hour. (Mrs. Payne’s 4th graders will work with Mrs. Shindo in class.) Please email me ASAP if your child cannot attend the dress rehearsal. 100% attendance is always the goal.

Thanks for your support and cooperation as we work within the guidelines provided to us by the LA County Department of Public Health.

Finally, please see below from Paul Revere Middle School. Thanks.
