April 4, 2022

Greetings CDA Family,

It has been a great feeling interacting with parents in the school during morning drop off. I also appreciate the opportunity to engage with the CDA community during last Friday’s fundraising event. I am incredibly grateful that through imagination and creativity our Booster Club members continually provide us with opportunities to connect in meaningful ways. I urge everyone to continually support us by pitching-in to the Community Fund here: Donate Now | Coeur d’Alene Avenue School

While the Covid-19 cases have significantly reduced, there were still a few positive cases reported this week. Health and Safety continues to be our priority during on campus events this week. I continually urge all of us to practice masking and social distancing as much as possible.

Our in-person Book Fair in the library is for students only from 8:30am to 3:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 8:30am to 2:30pm on Tuesday. The Book Fair is open to our family members during Open House this Thursday from 5pm to 6pm. Masking and social distancing as much as possible is strongly recommended.

The school will be closed for Spring Break from April 9 to April 17. As part of our ongoing Covid-19 testing program, our school is distributing two (2) free rapid test kits per individual this Wednesday. Please test on Saturday, April 16th or Sunday, April 17th. If your child tests negative, no action is required and you may bring your child to school on Monday, April 18th. If, however, your child tests POSITIVE, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL. Instead, keep your child at home, contact your child’s doctor to make a plan for care, and upload the POSITIVE test result on Daily Pass as soon as possible.
