February 13, 2022

Greetings CDA Family,

There has been a 77% decrease in Covid 19 positive cases since the start of the Spring 2022 semester.  The numbers are looking good and the Omicron surge may be behind us.  However, staff absences and shortages continue to be a challenge across LAUSD.  I continue to collaborate with our local district, staff, and  parents to come up with creative ways to resolve this impact.  I appreciate everyones patience and support during these challenging times.  Let’s continue to model respect, responsibility, kindness, and safety for our community.

While on school property – including during drop offs and pick up:

  • Wear surgical grade masks at all times
  • Monitor for symptoms
  • Keep 6 feet of distance from each other as much as possible

Please follow all traffic rules.   Pedestrians should use the crosswalks.  We are expecting ticket enforcers to help us monitor safety.
