CDA Community,

We will use this platform to house communications since March 10, 2020, when the Covid-19 / coronavirus health crisis started to affect our day-to-day operations. Make sure to check the district’s website for more up-to-date information. If you are not receiving their communications by phone or email, please email me so that we can check your contact information in our student data system.

Stay well and together we will get through this crisis. Thanks.

Email Sent to TK, Kindergarten, and Grade Families

Dear CDA Families,

The big day has arrived! Today we are receiving students in transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade. We appreciate the attention that you have given to everything that needs to be in place in order for us to resume in-person instruction safely. Students will either need to show proof of a COVID test, which they can do by uploading external results on the Daily Pass site, or have taken a test in the district, in which case the results will show on the Daily Pass website. If you’re able to either print a Daily Pass QR code or have it ready on a smartphone when you arrive with your child, that will expedite the screening process. If your results are not showing on the Daily Pass site and you have proof of them, please email them to me and/or bring a copy with you for us to take a picture so that we can allow your child on campus. Unfortunately, if we do not have proof of a negative COVID test, your child cannot begin instruction today. Please email Mrs. Greene ([email protected]), our assistant principal, if you were having difficulty getting the results from a COVID test that was either taken through an external healthcare provider or the district. Once we have proof of those results, your child can begin in-person instruction.

Finally, please make sure to enter through your child’s designated gate. That will be the gate through which students are dismissed as well if they are not staying for care. Thanks.

Email Sent to Grades 2 & 3 Families

The big day is tomorrow! Tomorrow we are receiving students in second and third grades. Unfortunately, if we do not have proof of a negative COVID test, your child cannot begin instruction tomorrow. Please email Mrs. Greene ([email protected]), our assistant principal, if you were having difficulty getting the results from a COVID test that was either taken through an external healthcare provider or the district. Once we have proof of those results, your child can begin in-person instruction.
