Campus Beautification Committee
School Improvements Chair to identify campus improvement projects. Create and present project budgets to the Booster Board. Execute projects via volunteer crews or approved vendors.
Communications Committee
Works with our VP of Communications and closely with multiple committees, especially Events, Room Parent Coordinators, and the Tech Committee. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Helping create visual flyers for our newsletter, help the Events Committee with planning, prepping, and communication about upcoming events, and updating our website (if you are tech-inclined, this committee is also a great gateway to move into a technical role with our Tech team). People joining this committee value clear, accurate, and concise communication schoolwide. TIME COMMITMENT: all-time commitments welcome (sometimes on campus, sometimes on zoom for meetings. – Please discuss with the team and committee chair about your time commitment, skill set, interest, and availability)
Community Fund Committee

Community Partnership/Sponsorships Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Identify potential partners for sponsorships – cash and in-kind. Solicit contributions. Deliver a business pitch (in person or via email) to sell banner ads. Hold meetings with potential partners. Attend local chamber of commerce meetings. Help source and produce banner and sponsor ads. TIME COMMITMENT: part-time, all work can be done from home as you email and contact sponsor candidates.
Events Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Recruit and work closely with the specific event committee to: Select a theme, Research all virtual fundraising opportunities, Create a budget for approval, Contact vendors and secure all necessary event materials, Secure permits, Sell tickets, Set-up and break-down event, Work with the Communications Committee to devise a communications/marketing plan for advertising the event, Work with the treasury for financing and reporting of event financial success. Hospitality Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: The first Monday of every month – brew and set-up coffee service at the lunch tables for families. Coffee & Tea with the Principal – carry coffee service over to the library for “coffee & tea with the principal”. Coffee & Treats for Teaching Staff meetings (3x per year – on soon-to-be specified dates): bring coffee and pastries for our teachers’ meeting. Last day of school before the winter break – organize holiday lunch for teaching and school staff. Holiday gifts for teachers. Teacher Appreciation Week- work with room parent coordinators to organize and set-up teachers luncheon. Help host school demonstration events (work with room parent coordinators). Retirement gifts (work with Booster board and room parent coordinators). End-of-year gifts for staff. TIME COMMITMENT: all-time commitments welcome ( some times on campus, some on the phone to help order / buy items – please communicate with the team about your time commitment )
Library Committee
Merchandise Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Identify designs and inventory for merchandise (class shirts & event specific wares). Work with vendors to purchase and design merchandise. Create and present project budgets to Booster Board. Run merchandise inventory. Maintain merchandise closet organized. Set-up merchandise and sell before/after school on specific dates and during events. TIME COMMITMENT: all time commitments welcome ( on campus part time, can order items remotely )
Restaurant Fundraiser Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Work closely with existing and new restaurant partners to set-up fundraising nights (secure dates, profit share and flyers) Identify specific dates in the school’s official calendar to host restaurant fundraisers for the year. Work with communications committee to create a communications/marketing plan to announce the events school wide. Once event closes collect profit share donations. TIME COMMITMENT: part time, can be done remotely ( by email or phone )
Raffle and Auction Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Solicit items from existing community partners (via email or in-person). Identify new donors and procure items for the auction (via email or in-person). Set-up auction website. Work closely with the Communications committee to create a communications/marketing plan to announce the auction school-wide. Write descriptions and determine pricing for each item. Once the auction closes, send individual emails to the winning bids. Make arrangements to distribute the items. TIME COMMITMENT: part-time, in person, or done remotely, mostly remotely where you call or email
Technology Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Help with CDA’s technology efforts and enhancements. If you have software or hardware or online technology skills/experience, we welcome you and please come JOIN The Tech Team! TIME COMMITMENT: part time on campus & remote work (with very little onsite work.)
Visual Arts Programs Committee
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Liaise with teachers to ensure they have the necessary supplies and tech support for the Meet the Masters program. Organize art supply orders including sourcing and preparing art carts for the teachers. Quarterly art closet clean-up and organization. During Spring, liaise with teachers to select additional artists for the Meet the Masters collection, as necessary and provided by the budget. TIME COMMITMENT: all-time commitments welcome, part-time, full-time, remote.
